Patent preparation and prosecution in the mechanical arts.

Mr. Hopper specializes in intellectual property issues in the mechanical arts. Specifically, his practice relates to preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical engineering arts, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the areas of: vehicle occupant protection devices such as air bags and seat belts; medical applications such as orthopedic and bone fixation devices, cardiac valve and vertebral disc replacement devices, stents, and tissue scaffolds; and polymer film applications for use in gas diffusion barriers and electronic components. 

Mr. Hopper also has experience in searching for trademarks as well as prosecuting trademark applications.
